Wild card entrants into the doubles, Rafael Nadal and Marc Lopez, will face the number one seeds Daniel Nestor and Nenad Zimonjic in the doubles finals in Indian Wells tomorrow. Nadal, who tends to only play doubles when returning from injury or at the start of the season to get a little more match play under his belt, has played with Lopez, a friend from Mallorca, previously, actually beating Nestor and Zimonjic in the Doha doubles finals in 2009. The victory was their partnership debut. They have played a total of 5 tournaments together.
Given the form Nadal is playing in, I suspect we might see a Nadal clean sweep of the Indian Wells tournament... Well that's what I'm hoping for anyway. I still get a sneaky feeling Rafa's going to walk away empty handed. I get the feeling he may not even win a title until Barcelona.
