With all the recent talk surrounding Juan Martin’s injury progress since he had surgery on his wrist in May. He had originally announced he would miss the US Open, and as a result wouldn’t get the chance to defend his first Grand Slam title. Recently rumouors have been circulating that JMDP had not only started practicing but that he would also managed to play the US Open which starts at the end of August.
The towering Argentine has confirmed over Twitter that he has, in fact, not started practicing and is still not sure about when he plans to return to the sport.
“I haven’t picked up a racquet yet so I can’t tell an exact date. When I know I’ll tell you the news here. I’m improving, that’s a good thing.” – JMDP
