Nadal Undergoes PRP On Both Knees

Rafael Nadal has had a busy few days since arriving back in Mallorca after reclaiming his Wimbledon title. First he was spotted heading to the doctors to undergo PRP therapy (see Physio Perspective tab) to help treat his chronic tendinitis, he and girlfriend Xisca were then spotted going to a reception at the Consulate in Palma. Before his trip to South Africa for the World Cup finals, where he is now, Nadal visited a Basque Pelota team, revealing his two small post-PRP bandages, like the one he was spotted with in Monte Carlo.

The images, which are available at Vamos Brigade, show the Spanish superstar having a go at playing Pelota before meeting with some delighted locals.

Somewhere in amongst all of this Rafa became a share holder in local professional football club Real Mallorca.

Since arriving in South Africa, Nadal has been mobbed by fans and media wanting his opinion on the World Cup final. After Spain’s disappointing defeat in Davis Cup the Spaniards are looking for glory on a larger scale against the Dutch. Rafa enjoyed a helicopter ride over the Victoria Falls before a boat cruise, trying to pack as much in to his brief visit as possible.

The World Cup final will be on at about 4 am Monday (Sydney time).
