Dolgopolov And Tipsarevic Contacted Over Possible Match Fixing

The Tennis Intergrity Unit has been conducting investigations into the conduct of top players, specifically about ten suspicious cases.

The in form Alexandr Dolgopolov and Janko Tipsarevic have confirmed that they both received letters. While Alex didn’t divulge the content of the letter he did say, “I wasn’t really surprised because I knew some guys, you know, like Russian guys, they got those letters.”

Janko, however, was more forth coming. He said he was investigated for his three sets defeat to Horacio Zeballos in Moscow last year.

“I said to the TIU that I have no problem, they can send me a letter every week if they want. All it needed was a phone call to my bank, to my phone company and I gave them everything. Easy, just took seven days, I sent them my account, the telephone list, everything they wanted, what’s the problem?” – Janko Tipsarevic
