Ernests Gulbis’ 6-2, 6-4 quarterfinal victory over Juan Martin del Potro in LA just goes to show how brilliant the Latvian can be when he is on a hot streak. He can be so brilliant it’s look away but he can also be so disappointing when he regularly under performs that its hard to watch.
