Roddick Wins Opener In Straight Sets

Andy Roddick has made a winning start in Wimbledon after an abysmal three months. Today Roddick defeated Germany’s Andreas Beck in their first round encounter today 6-4, 7-6, 6-3. Roddick And Murray Prepare For Queens

Both Andy Murray and Andy Roddick seem to have shaken off their injuries and plan to participate at Queens in the lead up to Wimbledon. There are mixed reports that Murray partially tore a tendon and others that he partially tore a ligament (more likely) but it seems the Scot has decided his ankle is stable enough to play. While husband Andy Roddick struggled in Madrid, Brookly Decker has been making the social rounds, first at the White House Correspondent’s Dinner in Washington DC, then overnight she was spotted in neon pink at the MET ball. Despite the glamour of the evening, Decker Tweeted “Although I am thrilled to be invited again to the Met Ball. Given the recent events, It feels a bit frivolous worrying about a hairstyle.” Read more »

Roddick Doesn’t Impress On Return To Clay

Fresh off a house move and a second anniversary break spent with wife Brooklyn Decker, Andy Roddick has made his return to the European clay courts he barely stepped on last year. Last season Roddick, currently ranked 12, struggled with form and illness only played Roland Garros in this section of the season.

In their first round match Roddick came up against Flavio Cipolla who won the match 6-4, 6-7, 6-3 in 3 hours, 2 minutes. The American’s huge serve was uncharacteristically broken four times during the course of the match. Read more »

Brooklyn Decker Shows Some Skin

Andy Roddick and Brooklyn Decker have been enjoying their second wedding anniversary together by moving into a new house in Texas that they have been readying over the last two years. Meanwhile photos from Decker’s latest shoot, a topless shoot, have been released online.

The shoot was done with Mark Squires and as you can see (if you scroll down) leaves little to the imagination.

Defending Champ Roddick Heading Home To Doctors

Miami’s defending champion Andy Roddick has been handed a surprise second round defeat 6-4, 7-6 at the hands of Pablo Cuevas and as a result may slip to number 15 in the rankings which would be his lowest ranking since 2002. Roddick will now head home to see his doctor after complaining of breathing difficulty. Read more »
