Tommy Haas, who had a career high ranking of number two, is making a return to the ATP tour after hip surgery and PRP treatment for his chronic patella tendinitis. (What is PRP? – click here) Haas also had elbow surgery in March last year.
After more than a year off the competitive circuit, in which time his fiance Sara Foster gave birth to a baby girl, Valentina, Haas is planning to return to the tour in Munich. Tommy will only play doubles at the event with Radek Stepanek. Read more

Tommy Haas is taking steps towards getting back on the ATP circuit by hitting with Pete Sampras, Mardy Fish and Sam Querrey in LA. He’s also been practicing with Richard Berankis at the Bolletteri Academy as he attempts to strengthen his knees over 12 months after having hip surgery.

Tommy Haas has released photos of his festive season where he and friends and family – including baby daughter Valentina – hit the slopes for some skiing fun.
Haas continues to work on his knee and hip rehabilitation with the hope of returning to the ATP circuit soon. He is currently ranked 372.

As Tommy Haas and Sara Foster await the birth of their first child, Haas has updated fans via his website, saying he underwent the second of three PRP injections into his knee to treat chronic tendinitis on Thursday. Haas has been off the tour for some time after having hip surgery and has also been rehabilitating his knee injury at the same time. Haas hopes to return to training soon and his daughter is expected to make her arrival within the next two to three weeks. Read more

At the top of the list has to be Roger Federer’s wife, and former player, Mirka Federer. Mirka and Roger met and started dating at the Sydney 2000 Olympic games. Mirka’s highest ranking was 76 with less than $300,000 in prize money, a measily amount compared to her husbands fortune, which exceeds $50 million in prize money alone. However, Mirka has long been acknowledged to be the force behind Federer, previously organising some of his media and public relations commitments, assisting him in practice and encouraging him to continue playing – even a few days after their wedding.
